After being away for a while; found out where he had gone to and waited (Ok - it's not the same one as last years, which proved impossible to catch on camera - but it must be a relative).

That is a great shot. They move so fast, you must have been very patient waiting for him to pop up like that.

I could have had a chance at a similar shot today. Derek and I were working on the allotments, lifted a metal panel up from the grass and a little mouse was hiding under there. I even had my camera in my pocket but Derek screamed and dropped his end of the metal panel and I couldn't get my camera out of my pocket before the little chap ran away (the mouse that is, not Derek)
