It still seems sureal to see this place....  I used to live not far from Whinfell forest, and remember the forest before it was turned into this park(c)? .  There was a LOT of controversity about the wildlife and the damage that was caused to their environment during construction....

That said I hear nice things about the park now - How is it holding up Dave, after 10 or 12 years?

Picutre wise - I feel the shot lacks a focus point, to grab the attention, but I do like the colours of the sky / pond.

Park is excellent, image wise totally agree about the lack of a focal point, but there are very few areas around the place to get anything that would fit a good technical image.

Wildlife is thriving - they have done well in the management of the place.
