He has just started having a few lessons and I managed to persuade him to "pose" got half a dozen shots this time before he got fed up. Took me longer to set up the lights - which means I do not get chance to reshoot.
Had a strobe with brolly to the left and strobe with reflective umbrella (at about his shoulder height) to the right, both at about 45 degrees - seem to be getting a strange green tinge in the shadow areas, any ideas on how to overcome.

Well done Dave, have you tried out and out bribery? It's a good shot, the only thing the might have helped would have been a reflector above him to give some top light. Don't know about the green tinge in the shadow areas, other then to try compensating the flash setting + or - a bit. When I am shooting under incandescent light I have to set my camera on +3 to get decent colour balance. _________________

Thanks keith.
I did have a lamp above him, but the angle I was shooting at meant I had to turn it off - didn't think about a reflector (going to make a list of what to remember/think of, laminate it, and stick it to the tripods).
When I get a chance to re shoot, will repost, bribery - now there's a thought............. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------
