Ni, I missed that one, but the circumstances are the same, someone showed me a shot on the web which I thought was very clever and funny and inspired me.

I figured it's LED lights and a long exposure?

You know, them stainless steel swinging things that get bought at xmas to put on a desk - bit like the newtons cradle thing, can't find a link to what I wanted to describe, but kind of similar to the perpetual motion things

It was an interesting experiment, drawing in pitch darkness, blanking the light with my hand so as not to have unwanted trails including switching off one torch and switching on the other. Much room for improvement, but not sure I'll bother, I was just bored and sleepless.
