Took a walk along the lakes across the road from our house (so expect to see similar scenes from Derek). Mine taken with my little Ixus 750

there is nothing wrong with Ixus, lovely scenes Mrs D
Gilly
loving number 3 Mrs D!!!!
the 'little' Ixus relates to the amount of space it takes up in your pocket obviously, and not the quality of pictures, and the amonut of fun you can have with it right? I know I miss mine, now I am using an SLR. I love the fact you can pull it out of your pocket, shoot away, and put it back, without having to faff on sometimes! (that read quite rude - apologies!!!)
enough drivel......

Thank you Dave and Gilly. It was a lovely walk, one we've done before but it was like a different place altogether in the snow. White, silent and beautiful. The snow was "deep and crisp and even" but rather hard to walk in being crunchy and 8 inches deep! No wonder Good King Wenceslas only "looked out"
Yes I know what you mean, the Ixus is so easy to carry and no-one even knows you have a camera. You just whip it out, "click", then slide it back in your pocket (which is what you were trying to say I think!) I only ever change between Auto and Digital Macro so I need to know hardly anything clever!!
