I prefer external hard drives for backup. I create a zip of My Documents every few weeks which at 120Gb takes most of a night, but worth it. I can't be doing with something that is a write once technology, just creates pointless clutter. I use memory sticks for sharing stuff, again rewritable, though do use CD/R's for larger one off, for keeps, lumps. It's all going to hang on price.
