Wet Leaves

While I was taking photos of wet apples, I thought I'd take some of wet leaves as well.

I love water droplets on leaves - like little diamonds adorning a green dress.

that second one really stands out

Excellent, the only thing I would suggest for No1 is a contrast/curves and maybe a saturation boost.

the second one is great......

I love the borders/frame too.....

Thank You. I can't take credit for the frame though - it's a clever automatic thing I got my son to do.  Embarassed

fabulous photos.  I love them both but I think number 2 is my favourite.  And welcome new member - big hug. xx

nicely done!

Thank you everyone. I was surprised I could take quite so close up photos with the Ixus.

I don't like the bright blur in the bottom left corner though - I hadn't noticed that before.

creators - is this any better for number 1? Not sure if I've done exactly what you suggested as I'm no Photoshopper but it does look brighter.

Yep, that looks a lot crisper and punchier. Very nice.

Mrs D - P&S cameras are pretty darn good for close ups, but you do need to watch out for depth of field issues with them

I don't know how to change many settings on the Ixus actually. Still learning but thanks for your advice.  Smile
