Thanks for the vote mate.

Ok, reflective surfaces are the worst and I am not sure I will be able to complete this because of time, but I've made a start if anyone else wants a shot. I'll keep picking at it and see how it goes. This is a PNG file so pretty much lossless unless Photobucket has murdered it. Note the colour's not right on the bit I've done but it's a better base to work with.

Getting stuff into place isn't the problem, making them match is. Mind you at this time of night a couple or three stiff whiskeys don't make matching all that easy.

At Chris' request I am putting up a walk through of what I would do to get rid of the bluetak. I've not taken this to a stage I would consider finished, but it shows the processes.

I think the key skill is learning to enjoy fiddling about.

Thanks Dave, it's the first time I've tried it in that pictorial way. I'm not sure how useful it would be to a beginner because it leaves a lot out, like where things are and what they do, but it does include all the tool settings.

Makes perfect sense to me, and i'm a PS beginner!  Embarassed

You must have the patience of a saint though to go through that kind of painstaking work.  Bravo to you!

Thanks Gilly, and it's good to know it does make sense.

That's me Saint Keefy!  Very Happy Um, the tough part isn't doing the work, it's making sure work-through's are properly sequential and make sense, cos if they don't scan whoever is reading them is just more confused.
