he's just lazy, i had to go down the other weekend to teach him how to use it, maybe he'll sort something out once he has kif's camera.

Err, there's difference between lazy and don't know how to, though an awful lot of people make that mistake, including a great many teachers. A lot of times when kids say, 'I can't be bothered', what they mean is, 'I don't know how to and it's scary and past experience says if I admit I am scared I'll get the piss taken out of me'. When we move into the big bad world of adults, when we are all meant to be super competent, of course, it's all the harder. Learning is tough. Not saying that is where Malcolm is, just flapping my gob.

he is too busy looking at that russian site that he posted about the other day to actually work on his own stuff and put it up for us to have a goose at.
at least he admitted that he didn't have a clue how to do it. although I think i may have helped in that department. hopefully.

Just to add, Dave, for the sake of moderation and forum etiquette, the stuff is my stuff, and it does go back a long way, and having worked in education all my life, I have never met a lazy person. I have met a lot of people who for many reasons have given up, do not or will not attempt things, but never an out and out lazy one. It is a term I find difficult and apologize if my post seems, or is, inappropriate.

Keith, no apologies necessary, the postings have been taken by me to be "banter" which is good old fashioned humour, which seems to be in decline these days due to that very strange thing (was going to use that pheno.... word but couldn't remember how to spell it) called PC - which seems to be out of control.
Then, of course there is always that phrase - if the cap fits .......
