What a disaster, i couldnt get it really sharp and it was overexposed all over the shop.
I made a special effort to dissapear into the countryside to get these shots...and im really dissapointed. Sky was clear and it was damn cold!
Seems like ive got a shadow cast of the moon in the image.
So does anyone have any tips of how to get good, clear and sharp images of such a fine beast?
Im going to have to remember the remote cable next time too!

300mm + 1.4x teleconverter. 1/200s @ f10 - ISO200. Not sure of makes of equipment used

just tried it myself tonight and with focal length at 500mm at 1/100s @ f22 ISO 400 got
tried with 1.4 teleconverter but just could not get sharp image due to the fact I could not stop the tripod shaking.

Thanks, have to admit it's the best shot I've taken of the moon by far and am pleased with it. Will try the 1.4 TC again another day - got too cold last night to stay out too long.
