Shaw PondIt's a shame. I wanted to use this as my comp entry for this month. But after reading the rules, I realize it's ineligible, since I took this the last week in September.
So I share it here. This is a 13-image stitch.

that is sure one hell of a stitch - does the place justice
Thanks for sharing John, and I am sure if it had been eligible would have been a winner.

Thanks Dave -
10 hours of fighting Photoshop crashing and creative work around the seams was enough for me!
I still have a 23-image pano I haven't tackled yet I might wait a bit before doing that one.

Good eye - yes - they were all portrait mode, and overlapped by about 30%.
Thanks Jon.

Many thanks Keith - this one really does bring back the memories of the time and place. I'm very pleased with the light and detail (and subtle haze) in the distant hills. Very much like it was on that beautiful afternoon.

Thanks Chris. I'm rather happy with the result, because it does a good job of showing what I actually saw.
I shot these images using a small aperture (f20) to ensure a deep depth of field. That was to try and maximize what is in focus from the foreground to the background.
