Here is a first attempt at something that I really like, images that are predominetaly mono, with a hint of colour, or one particular area of colour, and my other fascination, Eyes.
and this one was just the product of messing around which i kinda liked, thoughts if you will?!!

I like where you are going with the top one, not so keen on the bottom one, but playing is always good. Personally I'd have lightened up the face and smoothed it some more. But then I like the soft and fluffy alabaster look. Lightening, healing brush, some contrast and Diffuse glow. Like so:

and here's me liking the way the second one was going!
Hmm you can please some people some of the time but ........

it is indeed my girlfriend and i am indeed a lucky bastwerd!! Thanks for the input, i like the second one simply because it is different, i was trying for darker eyes and lighter skin, but with out selecting different areas and all that it wasn't going to work so couldn't be arsed. I like the first one cos it was so simple, took about ten minutes. Keith, although i do like some of your shots with the alabaster look to them, i think you have gone too far with you one of sam, I shall have a go and post my interpretation of it. but thanks for the input. The black with colour thing i'm hoping to play more with so keep browsing.
