Persuaded the wife to let me take a few portraits on Sunday...and with the help of our new ebook i have touched it up a bit....

Lovely picture, but, in for a penny from Mr. haven't got a clue what I am doing with my own lighting....
The picture is slightly flat, I think if you'd taken the main light round to the side more and used a reflector or fill just to ease any harsh shadows but left enough to give depth, you'd have a show stopper on your hands.

well here's me with no lights, so cannot really judge from that angle, but the shadow of the nose is a bit off putting on what is a cracking portrait, maybe reflector to left would have helped.

Amazing what can be done with a tray and some tin foil! or a daz white sheet for a less harsh look
