would have loved to see this without the left hand, which I feel is "in the way" - but ...... , also feel that the ring on the right hand is a bit distracting - not much but .....
B&W and lighting is spot on, oh, to have someone in the family who likes having photos taken - must be great
adam
thanks guys..
to be honest, the 2 shots i have put up here are the best of a bad bunch..
had a terrible time of it last night really..
really struggling to get the right light at the moment..now i have a light meter i can get the light spot on, but i dont see how it helps if you want a bit of creative lighting..you know, shadows and what not...
great if i want to take school portait pictures, but creative portraits of pretty ladies is a bit tricky!!

Well I'd say it's pretty dam good myself, the B&W is spot on and really brings out her eyes.
My only criticism would be to clone out the rings, the left hand doesn't bother me but the rings are distracting

Gorgeous shot Adam and I like the rings very much. My only crit is I'd have been tempted to either not have the sweep of hair and just have her shoulder, which I think would have made it an award winning shot, or I'd try a crop to just include her left hand and lose the rest of the sweep of hair.
