Sorry for my recent lack of activity! Had my mother in town for a couple of weeks, and with her being here I was kind of busy
We did manage to jump in the car and pull off a 1700 mile road trip though, to Jasper and Banff - the next province over! Gave mum a better understanding of just how large Canada really is!

Sunwapta Falls:
not sure if you can still see the dude in white at the top, as a scale reference.
Peyto Lake:
Stitched together from 20 photo's IIRC. This looks much nicer bigger - stupid Photobucket.
Moraine Lake:
Just on the outskirts of Lake Lousie, and once adorned the back of our $20 bills

think you've brought the shadows up too much in the first one, but love the other two
the pictures I've seen of the mountain lakes will have me over there with a camera at some point, of that there is no doubt

Thanks for the feedback Jon - looking back at #1 I agree with you, with the over cooking of the shadows. I'll go back and have another look.
As for the trip out this way, with camera - DO IT!!!! you will not regret it! If you want some help with planning, just drop me a shout (any of you), and we can sort something to suit. I am thinking about going back with a clean camera sensor (urrrgh), and some warmer temperatures in order to get some more water rather than ice shots.......
Obviously Jon, you'll want to bring the bike too, and we can visit Whistler

My wife and I are thinking of heading to Vancouver next year, she can't ski at present, so our trip to Colorado will have to be changed!
