I think these are great!
Fantastic idea, and well executed.
Mind if I copy? <he runs off to buy wireless trigger>

Amazing. very clever. I might try a cheaper experiment with some sort of light

Cheers folks! Not a portrait guy as such, but got the F36am for £85, and thought, I'll have some fun with this. Having wireless built into all the bodies I own (KM5D, A200 and A300) meant that the base set up cost less than £350, body, kit lens and flash! Any more expensive, I'd have probably stayed with the wildlife!

Great set of shots Carl, damned if I can choose between them, they're all great. I am ecstatic with my new wireless trigger, should have done it years ago.

Thanks Keith. Most planned spur of the moment shots I've done. Basic idea came after doing a portrait tutorial, and thinking outside the box. And I recalled Joseph Wright paintings with very focussed light points. I've one or two progressions in mind to take this further. One may well work for stock libraries too! Carl
