i@ve trapped a nerve in my back over the weekend. Been to the doctors and physio. So after seeing Dave's latest bird shots, I thought I'd have a go myself, as walking was suggested by the doc as a way to keep the back moving without pain. Took a walk around some lakes. (Will post a couple of shots later)
Got back to the car park to find some barstool had broken into my van by gemmying the passenger door open. The alarm would have gone off so as nothing was taken, I assume it scared him off. Had to spend an hour at the garage where they tried to get the door to lock. It could cost me a new door panel, new door, new lock and new handle.
Rang the police, got a crime number and asked if I wanted victim support! I laughed my head off at that. He did apologise but said he has to ask that every time.

well at least i suppose nothing has been taken. I can't help feeling that in the current climate theft and burglary are bound to be on the rise

sorry to hear about your troubles Derek.
Did you get the pictures?

Scum of the earth Degsy.
I suppose you can take refuge in that you have to go out of your way to get it fixed, rather than being at a large loss.
How is the back now? Getting any better yet? Fingers crossed it is mate!

I;ve decided not to have the repairs done. I don't want to lose my no claims and as it stands, no one can get into the passenger side where the damage is. I can still open it from inside.
The back's feeling better thanks Gilly. I was prescribed some anti-inflammatory tablets which seem to have done the trick. Bit of physio now and then plus swimming are all helping.
