Hi, J.Ed here from currently cold & soggy upstate NY,USA.
I am primarily a film user, but have been known to dabble in the digital realm. I collect older cameras, primarily Argus & Minolta, but most anything that strikes my fancy is fair game. I may be found lurking about photo.net, the rangefinderforum or nelsonfoto and hopefully now here.

Hi and welcome J.Ed.
And that was a very low blow Adam to a shivering denizen of NY (administers a virtual slap with an imaginary stick of rhubarb).

Nice shot there chap. Reminds me (small world) of the guy from your side of the pond who asked me if I knew 'so and so', I forget the name. At the time I thought he was absurd, it is only time that has taught me how tiny this piece of rock is and, in the great scheme of things, it seems a very reasonable question to have asked now. A friend in the US of A once told me she was going out to dine at a restaurant 60 miles away. I thought, 'JC, doesn't she realize that would require the entire packing of almost all ones earthly goods to undertake such an epic journey in the UK?' I exaggerate, but only slightly.
