Grain Train(s)

Over here in Canada, some of these trains grow to over a mile in length. (makes for waiting at the rail crossing a boring task!). Anyway, these I took at the local grain bulking depot one night earlier this year........

These are great, they have the same feel as the rathrr incredible shooting angles they used in the Batman films, well done.

Thank you very much! Smile

It was fun getting the shots, as walking on the rail road here is similar to that back home - i.e. trespassing. I had to be pretty culvert about the whole thing, and man these things are BIG when you are stood along side one!!!!

Ah, you're in good company my friend, Woodie Guthrie wrote many of his inspired songs during the depression and the dustbowl riding the tracks, I am sure he is looking down with a proud glint in his eye at another creative soul. A little anarchy is good for the soul and pictures. Laughing

It's the first one for me. Smile I like the sepia monochrome, how the train pulls your eye right through the shot, and the smoke.
