it's a fab lens - careful handling the photos taken with it, they're very sharp ;)

Jon - they sure are, first image taken of my daughter, did my usual sharpening (action in PS) and ruined it, well not really but you know what I mean, that's the beauty of digital - can go backwards and redo.
It's also very fast on focusing, brilliant.

aye - f/2.8 & AF-S is a lovely combination people wonder why expensive lenses are so expensive, but you _do_ get what you pay for most of the time!
