Croatia

I went on holiday to croatia a while ago, and also found out that I didn't delete all the pictures off of my mem cards, woopdywopwoo is all i can say about that. So here's a selection since I don't post as many as I should. They aren't the greatest, I was being dragged along.

The first is a picture I took in Dubrovnik, as the sun set all the swallows came out to feed I guess, and the light off the dome caught my attention.


I've forgotten the name of the island this was from, but its beautiful anyway.


This is from the same island as the one above.


The last two are from the same place and the entire town is just a warren of streets like this. It is built specifically so that the sun never fully hits the streets and they are kept during the day.

I think #2 is a great shot! Love it! I wonder if maybe a llittle creative photoshopping would make the colors pop a bit more, though?

Shame about the blurred birds in the first might be worth cloning them out.

thanks for the comments guys, i'll have another crack at two and three. the birds where part of the shot mike, but i guess you kinda had to be there to see that. Maybe i'll clone them out then i'll have a great shot of the dome.

Its deffinately worth going to Dave, its a beautiful place. But don't stay in one spot, it so easy to travel between the island and you find some really interesting stuff.

hmmm, saving them for the web seems to loose some of the punch they had when I editted them...will experiment later on that one.
