I took this picture a while ago and quite liked it but recognized it was also of indifferent lighting and contrast. I've been back to it a few times and was messing with it today using dodging and burning trying to make something of it when I tried the Filter, Render > Difference Clouds. What do you think?

Very unusal effect acheived, but doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. It's not the actual effect itself (which is quite startling), but the colours I think.

not a lover of this one, think the transformation is startling (in a good way) but not sure of the colouring - agree with Sean
