Totally agree but not a lot I could with it
took it at 500mm, iso was up at 400 I think, an so f was around 5, will look it up in exif when I get chance

so did you take it at 500mm as a test or cos thats as close as you could get?
have to say, at 500mm, that bigma is proper good ay!!!

it was a test,
at the time I was shooting on shutter priority at the side of a small pond waiting for a little grebe to come back into range, which he never did, got a couple of pictures but even with this lens he was still small in the frame

have to say, the pic looks much better on my bigger monitor at work than at home on the laptop..
frustrating how we must all be seeing each others pics so differently!

laptop screens are incredibly bright - i wish you could calibrate them as easily as 'normal' flat screens
