If you realy like horror and sci fi, have you all see event horizon, i very rarely get really scared by films, just a bit jumpy, this was a change of underpants moment!!
The Rock, Bad Boys, braveheart, but sad as it seems I am a huge fan of cartoons, toy story, shrek, etc.
Shawshank and the green mile would have to be in my top five though. _________________ The sun cannot set,

hil26 hit the nail on the head for me - "anything that gets me off the planet" Got to love a bit of sci fi escapism. Be it Star Wars (the original ones, not the cack new ones), Alien, Forbidden Planet (really old film)
Then there's the comedy - Pink Panther! Weird Science (Nice one Adam!)
I'm a huge horror movie fan myself. Just can't seem to find any that scare me anymore. Love comedies as well.
Must Love Dogs
Something About Mary
All the animated ones listed above...Shrek, Toy Story, Bug's Life, lol
Ummmm...of course the 80's ones...St Elmo's Fire, Breakfast Club
Just recently watched Ghost Rider and Eragon, not everyones cup of tea but I liked them
I havent seen Eragon but I was a bit dissapointed with ghost rider to be honest.I just watched Tenacious D and the pick of destiny. Its the funniest film I have seen in ages.To funny.
I was able to see Ghost Rider last night at the movies and I enjoyed it but it was a little different than I had expected..lol I would watch it again just because Nicholas Cage was in it though..lol

Just watched 300 the movie. Have to say after all the hype I thought it was a bit of a let down to be honest. The special effects are nothing to right home about, the story lines is weak.
But don't let that stop you watching it _________________
The Untouchables (Sean Connery & Kevin Costner one)
Collateral (Tom Cruise)
Man on Fire (Denzel Washington)
Open Range (Kevin Costner) Great photography and brilliant last half hour
Four Weddings and a Funeral (Hugh Grant always makes me laugh)
Notting Hill for the same reason
Heat (de Niro and Al Pacino) bank robbery escape
Ronin (De Niro again) great car chase
cheers

Well my 2 week holiday came to an end yesterday but while off I did manage to see the new Harry Potter Film (order of the Phoenix) and also Transformers.
For me this is not the best of the 5 Harry Potter films but if your a fan of the books then it's more than watchable. Transformers on the other hand for me was great, the special effects were brilliant story line is a bit weak but then they normally are on this type of film.
I'd recommend people see both films but especially the Transformers one.
The Big Lebowski
The Man Who Knew Too Little
The Princess Bride
Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory _________________ Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought. - Albert Gyorgyi
