London's Trafalgar Square will play host to a massive photography show next month, featuring more than 100,000 pictures taken by people all over the world.
Called LomoWorldWall, the gigantic open-air exhibition is intended to be a 'snapshot portrait of the world'.
It will feature photos captured by members of the public using Lomo cameras, some of which have been previously exhibited as a series of images call LomoWalls.
A spokesman for the Lomographic Society International said: 'Over the last decade of Lomography, its worldwide community has been called on to participate in this ultimate project and submit their images and LomoWalls to be part of the big exhibition.'
The Trafalgar Square exhibition will run from 17-23 September and is part of the Lomography World Congress London 2007, featuring community events such as workshops.
So far, the Lomographic Society holds more than five million pictures, snapped by nearly one million photographers, in its archives.
