I didn't get tons of time to shoot in Newcastle but here are 3 shots from my small ramble. Weather/lighting was pretty ropey for the steps shots, it wasn't the nicest of mornings in tyneside!



This one was taken after lunch, the sun had come out to play and made some nice shadows from the bollards by the river

think your set on flickr has some better images ( my opinion). Nothing wrong with these but
Think it would be beneficial to post link.

The bridge images need to be looked at

I really like the 2nd (top right) the B&W gives it that old world look, it's the type of shot that for me depicts street photograph.

Have to admit i was quite pleased with both steps shots - they both received a little help in pp with a couple of actions. The first one had a bit of Urban Acid, and the second & third pics underwent a Platinotype action.

Both actions can be had from atncentral.com

For me I'm not a fan of the colour on the first, I like the shot but not the colour (this is just my taste though).
