I went to Spain with Derek recently Very Happy  Had a great time except for being bitten over 24 times on my legs by mozzies. Aaaaagh!

Anyway, so as not to be outdone, here are a few photos from my Ixus 750.

1. Giant ants

2. Cap Y Corb beach

3. Sunrise

4. Sunrise Parasol. Ixus set to Night shot to see what would come out!

5. Bloke on beach at sunrise with camera (Derek)
Very Happy

I love your beach shot (#2)

The night snapshot setting on the ixus gives a more balanced fill flash rather than full-out power flash, and I think it does a much better job (I was using my new ixus 870 in this mode last night at my brother's wedding)

Thank You. I didn't realise I had captured a splash until I looked later.

I'm quite pleased that the Ixus managed to get the ants in focus (well one of them at least) as they were belting along with that piece of stem and I thought they would just be a blur.

Yes, I like the night shot effect on the sunrise. It looks better than the photo I took of it on the Auto setting which looked grey and flat.
