Woke up early and went for a walk along the river as it was misty and i was hoping a bit of sunshine would filter through (it didn't - rain instead!)

Great set of shots and photo journal. No 3 looks like a row of mugs of tea, which would be just the job on a morning like that.

Really like the cobwebs!
The lock looks a bit eerie too.

Thanks everyone. It was a weird morning - very warm but looked October..ish.  They do look like a row of mugs don't they?

Why is it you want to lie in during the week when the alarm goes off and then at the weekend, when you could have a lie-in, you are wide awake at 6am?

Maybe because when the alarm goes off during the week you have to get  up to make a living, but it's not necessarily what you would ideally like to be doing with your time, whereas at the weekend, the living you have been working for is yours to enjoy.

I love fog - I wish we would get some more often.

Like them all, but I think #3 is a fav - I love the way the wharf curves away and leads the eye to an unknown destination in the fog - beautiful!

Number 3 and number 5 for me Derek.........

The fog and the houseboat really look the business, but the clarity on the close up is great too.

I'm the same with getting up to go to work being a struggle, but getting up to go someplace nice - no problem at all!  Rolling Eyes

Nice - I love cobwebs with droplets on. No 3 is probably my favourite, though I love the composition of No 5 - teasels are just so photogenic even without webs and water, but the combination of the three is just irresistable.
