Hello!
Mr D (Derek) and I have been messing about with water for most of the day for the weekend competition and I took a few myself on my point and shoot. Its a Canon Ixus 750. I'm entering one of them in the competition
At last, some decent conversation form the D household
(just kidding Degsy!!! )
Welcome Mrs D, and I look forward to seeing the 'different shots from the same place', that you and Derek post. _________________ Bring on the snow, for I feel the need to ride.....
I will be using a point and shoot and not borrowing the 350D so my photos will not be as sophisticated as some on here. I'm not a very good "tweaker" in Photoshop either but I have persuaded my son to create a Photoshop Action which automatically (well almost) makes a nice drop shadow frame. AND - I don't think Mr D knows how to use it!
I think you should borrow the 350D! Your talent is already obvious (in my humble opinion!) and top marks for getting the photoshop action. Hey.. AND why not make this a proper family affair and get your son to join in too! Sounds like he could give some fab photoshop advice. _________________ My Flickr Pics
Thank You! Son did actually join some time ago but soon lost interest in the camera as teenagers do. Anyway, we can't allow him on here as he understands all the camera settings and is rather good with Photoshop which gives him an unfair advantage over us.

Teenagers! Drownings too good for them. And they can operate digital watches and blaps, it's sickening. _________________
I wondered whether Derek had followed the little tutorial for the frame/drop shadows, but now the truth is out...... _________________ -----------------------------------------------------
