Hello, need a little help here. I've not been online in quite some time, hoping all is well with you all. I am shopping for a new camera and so far this one is within my budget and has caught my eye.
Canon Digital Rebel XTi 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens (Black)
Now my questions is, I am currently using a Kodak Easyshare 10x optical zoom.. how does that compare to the 18-55mm lens??
I am very open to suggestions and I do appreciate it. _________________ Be like the flower, turn your faces to the sun. ~Kahlil Gibran
don't think you will be too disappointed with your choice - even though it is a Canon.
the 18 - 55 is effectively a 3 x zoom
not too sure about your easyshare, as different models are out there but think its 38 to 380mm in slr terms.
so you are not going to get in as close with the slr, but you will have more control of your images and your images will also benefit from being able to increase size of your prints without loss of quality . _________________ -----------------------------------------------------
