These don't quite belong here, but as it's part of a life long fascination, I hope you'll forgive me. Mike got me all fired up with his railway building and as it was a lovely day I went out to East Somerset Railway in Cranmore. They were closed but a very kind chap let me have a ramble along the station platform.







And remember this? Shine your buttons with Brasso, it's only three ha'pence a tin. You can buy it or nick it from Woolworths, but I doubt of they've got any in...

Thanks very much. A couple more just because. The second one I barely got away with, I took two exposures to get the sky and the foreground, but having left my tripod in the car, they were hand held, so I'm chuffed with it.

Just been looking back through past threads. I must admit I like trains too and have done since I was a boy.

I really like the suitcases on the platform shot - very nostalgic.
